The symbol of the Christ is the level of consciousness and understanding that is unconditional acceptance.
This is a level of consciousness that needs to be obtained before the seeker of divine union, can continue on their path.
Unconditional SELF acceptance, Love, and forgiveness, as well as unconditional acceptance of all that IS.
This is the level of consciousness that breaks through all barriers of separation.
Merging the seeker into union with ALL.
This processes needs to be free of all limiting beliefs and mental attachments.
Union with the Divine existence is not the end of the journey.
Certainly there are levels of consciousness, and dimensions of existence that far exceed the human level of comprehension.
Unconditional acceptance, is accepting also, I don't know.
This brings about a state of freedom from past identity.
A re-birth.
This freedom is necessary to move forward on the path.
Moving into this level of consciousness also means forgiving your self,
and letting go of old shame and inadequacy issues.
Reaching this level of consciousness is ACCEPTING the Christ.
Jesus set the example for us, in embodying this level of consciousness.
Moving into the level of consciousness that he embodied,whether you refer to 'Jesus', or not,
is accepting the Christ.
It is making a commitment to yourself and the Divine,
that you are moving into a spiritual way of life.
It is the beginning, or the birthing, of the spiritual life.
Or conscious Divine awareness on earth.
Heaven on earth.
